JAMMU, Oct 24: A Jammu-based boy has filed an application written with blood under Right To Information Act with the State Information Commission seeking information in a death case of a lady.
Deepak Sharma, an RTI activist, has filed a ‘blood written’ application with the State Information Commission (SIC) alleging that despite frequent requests and reminders earlier, he was not provided relevant information in the death of a woman, who died on January 29, 2011.
“Number of times I had filed the RTI to seek information from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in ‘mysterious’ death of one Santosh Kumari,” the RTI activist told reporters here this morning.
He said a case has already been registered under an FIR at Nowabad Police Station but police and the FSL are not ready to share any information in relation with the follow up in the case.
“Finally I have filed an RTI written with blood with a hope that may it act as an eye opener for the SIC and the Government as well and they will provide me some information in the case,” he added.
The police have closed the case terming it as a suicide, but it was a gruesome murder, the activist alleged.
