Srinagar, Apr 27: J&K Pradesh Congress Committee president Prof. Saif-ud-Din Soz today urged the Congress workers from Srinagar to vote for the National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah in the Parliamentary elections to be held on April 30.
While addressing a Congress rally at Alamgari Bazar here, Soz gave a clarion call to the party workers to vote for Dr. Farooq Abdullah, who can fight the communal forces in the Lok Sabha that have been unleashed by Narendra Modi.
He said Kashmir needs a powerful voice in the Lok Sabha and Dr. Farooq Abdullah can full that requirement.
He explained that INC-NC unity in the Parliamentary elections was forged to fight communal forces and to maintain unity and integrity of India.
Vice President JKPCC Muzaffar Parray said that NC-Congress coalition would serve the interest of the people best.
