RAJOURI,  July 27:  SOS International,  an organisation of  PoK displaced persons,  today organized a rally at Bathuni in Rajouri district to discuss the  progress and  their demands and other issues.
A large number of displaced persons of district Rajouri attended the rally and expressed their anguish against Union and State Governments over the hindrance in implementing the package which was sent by State Government to Central Government.
Chairman of the organization Rajiv Chuni  targeted both Members of Parliament (MPs) of Jammu region for keeping hostile approach towards PoK DPs. “One BJP MP is Minister in Centre and other one is State president and they have never talked about PoK DPs issue at any place whether it’s Parliament, Party forum or any public place. They won their respective seats with a huge mandate and PoK DPs contributed in this process wholeheartedly as they had hope that their problems will be ended after it but nothing has been changed” he added.
Chuni said during elections promises were made in the BJP  manifesto  that once their Government would come in power PoK DPs issue would be solved on priority basis but on the contrary BJP made a U-turn of its  promises which were made to them.
During the rally, Rajouri District Committee was constituted  and Kewal Krishan was declared Chairman of district committee, Captain Ravinder Kumar as president where as Capt Raj Kumar, Krishan Lal and Jagdish Raj were given the responsibility of vice-presidents.  Sharda Devi was elected as general secretary and Pandit Lekh Raj was made treasurer.  Satya Devi,  Baldev Raj,  Kulbir Kour, Chuni Lal,  Sukh Raj,  Bhushan,  Surjit Singh,  Anju Bala and  Neelam Kumari were declared secretaries of  the Committee.
