JAMMU, Feb 21: Senior IAS officer and Chairperson Tribunal, Sonali Kumar today clarified news item regarding State Accountability Commission (SAC) case against her.
While referring to a news item under caption “Sitting, former Ministers, MLAs, top officials in SAC, SVO net”, the IAS officer, in a communiqué, said, “the allegation is totally untrue. The fact is that vide its order dated November 3, 2006 passed in Contempt Complaint No.J-14/2006 Mohd Shafi Andrabi Versus Sonali Kumar and Others, the Accountability Commission has after going into the complaint against me recorded that ‘this application is, therefore, consigned to records as no further action is warranted”.
Sonali Kumar also produced order of the SAC along with the affidavit filed by her in this regard.
