Social distancing only solution to combat Coronavirus: BJP leader

JAMMU, Apr 19: Senior BJP leader and working committee member of J&K UT, Arun Sharma today said social distancing is only solution to combat Coronavirus and appealed masses to take precautionary measures and stay at home till lockdown.
Sharma said that lockdown is for the safety of the masses, so people must stay at their home and cooperate with Health and Police departments. Lauding the work of police post SIDCO Samba, SI Meenu Sharma, he said female cops are playing significant role in district Samba during Coronavirus Pandemic and are working hard for maintaining social distancing.
“These female cops are working shoulder-to-shoulder with their male peers for 24 hours ever since the lockdown came into force and these cops are so active that they’re not missing any instructions of senior officers. They are also spreading awareness to public towards Coronavirus,” he added while honouring them.
BJP district vice president Naresh Amba, district spokesmen Kuldeep Sharma, district special invitee Shiv Lal Manyal, Dinesh Sambyal and Councillors Seema Amba, Sudesh Kumari, Madhu Kumari and Ruchi were present on the occasion.
