JAMMU, May 25: Social activists, Ajit Singh Jamwal and Gagan Mahajan here today called on Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr. Ramesh Kumar.
During their interaction with Kumar the social activists raised development related issues and demanded more community programmes and camps for every Government scheme as part of awareness drive.
They demanded installation of open air gyms for elderly persons and children in every park of districts of Jammu division.
The social activists also discussed the problems due to poor basic amenities like clean drinking water and unscheduled power cuts.
After listening to the social activists patiently, the Divisional Commissioner assured that he would look into the demands and accordingly, the issue will be addressed at the earliest.
