JAMMU, July 29: Senior Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) leader and Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Sobat Ali Choudhary of Ward number 74 here today started Park work in Sainik Colony Extension-D which is also known as War Widow Colony.
Speaking on the occasion the Councillor said that other developmental works in the Ward shall also be completed soon.
He asked the residents of his Ward to cooperate with JMC in maintaining cleanliness in the area and stop throwing household garbage here and there and use services of door-to-door moving autos for garbage disposal.
Ali further stressed on avoiding single use plastic and polythene bags in daily lives.
He said that the Urban Local Body is working hard to provide every facility to the people of Jammu at par with residents of other smart cities of the country.
