JAMMU, Nov 21: Senior Progressive Azad Party (PAP) leader and Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Sobat Ali Choudhary here today started road blacktopping work in Sainik Colony extension-D area (War Widow Colony/Gulab Singh Vihar) area of his Ward number 74.
The blacktopping work in the area was started after 15 years and it was a long pending demand of the people of the area as the road was in very bad shape.
Speaking on the occasion Sobat Ali said that other development works will also be started in the Ward soon.
He asked the locals of the area to maintain cleanliness in the Ward and don’t throw garbage and other household wastes here and there and make proper use of garbage collecting autos.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Subhash Sharma, Satish Sangra, Govind Singh Boloria, Rajinder Singh Jamwal, Janak Choudhary, Milkha Singh Salthia, Shamsher Singh Jamwal, Raghuvir Singh, Suraj Sharma, Sachin Verma, Rahul Jamwal, JMC team including JE Karan Gupta, Supervisor Haroon Malik and others.
