JAMMU, May 20: Following all the necessary norms to prevent COVID-19 infection, Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation (SNCF) here today organized a voluntarily blood donation camp at its Satsang Bhawan in Shastri Nagar.
The donors were called in groups of 3 to 5 at a time and a total of 20 donors were accommodated due to lockdown restrictions.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr Meena Sidhu, HoD Blood Transfusion Department of Government Medical College Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Sidhu thanked SNCF for organizing the camp at a time when blood banks are facing acute shortage of blood.
Ajit Singh, Zonal Incharge of Sant Nirankari Mission for Jammu while speaking on the occasion said the Mission is always ready to serve humanity in need of hour by blood donation or ration distribution.
He said that Mission has also distributed homemade masks to security forces and general public as per the teachings of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji.
