Distribution of ration, essential items continues

JAMMU, May 20: Distribution of ration and essential items among the needy persons continued here.
Former Member Legislative Council (MLC) Vikram Randhawa distributed ration, sanitizers and masks among the people at various places of Gandhi Nagar assembly segment which includes Rajiv Nagar, Bhour Camp Ward Number 2, Bhour Kothey, Gadigarh, Rati Sararhi and Doongian. Others present on the occasion include Councillor Neeraj Puri, Bharat Bhushan Mandal President, Haroon Choudhary, Mohammad Nazir Panch, Shamsher Singh Naib Sarpanch, Amit Gupta, Anil Choudhary, Ramesh Kumar, Dr Davinder, Ashok Vaid, Satwinder Laadi and Balwinder Kour.
Stephens International Public School and Stephens College of Nursing today distributed dry ration among the people who are in dire need of it. Chairman of Stephens College of Nursing Dr Kamal Saini, Director of Stephens International Public School Satvinder Saini and Manoj Kotru Advisor Stephens College of Nursing were among others present on the occasion.
Gandhi Global Family J&K in collaboration with Himalaya Botanicals Private Limited organized 27th relief camp at Makka Chowk, Bathendi, Jammu. Over 100 local needy families of Bathindi were identified by local social activist Choudhary Mumtaz Kabir, son of eminent Gandhian Choudhary Ahmed Din. The relief material was distributed in presence of GGF President J&K Padmashri Dr S P Varma. Dr Taran Singh, Er K K Mattoo, Senior Advocate Usman Salaria, Nissar Bhat NYK, Farid Khan, Sajjad Azad, Mohd Shafi Wani, Mohd Ashraf, Er Amin Bhat, Prof Qayoom Chouhan, Jaswinder Singh Kuku, Choudhary Mumtaz Kabir, Choudhary Shanash, SI Shabir Ahmed, Noor Alam, Jameel Choudhary, Choudhary Gulzar, Amit Varma, Raman Sharma, Ragav Changotra and Ankush Varma distributed the relief material.
Jammu team of “We The Human Forum for Nature and Mankind” distributed seventy COVID19 hygiene kits among poor children and females. Veteran farmers’ leader Ashwani Sharma, Executive Members of the trust Ajab Singh and Sukhdev Singh were among others present on the occasion.
Senior leader BJP and UT Vice president JK BJP Sofi Yousuf along with other leaders like Lateef Ahmed Khan and Abdul Ahad Wani distributed dry ration among needy people at Srigufwara, Budroo, Wullerhama, Dehwatoo and Batkoot villages of Pahalgam Constituency.
Buta Nagar Welfare Committee distributed dry food packages to the BPL and the needy persons from their own resources. The committee also distributed face Masks to each and every family as per their requirement in their locality.
Chandra Bhaga Development cum Charitable Trust distributed essential items to the downtrodden people of Kastigarh in District Doda.
Beopar Mandal Udhampur team distributed dry ration in Ward Number 20. Councilor Jagdish Kumar, President BMU Jitendar Vermani, Vijay Kumar Sharma, Rahul Magotra, Kamal Gupta, Ankit Sanson, Naveen Kumar, Jitendar Kumar, Aniket Jandial, Sanjay Kumar and many others were present on the occasion.
UT Secretary BJP Arvind Gupta reached out to 75 labourers who landed in Jammu in the wee hours from Udhampur. All the persons had reached Udhampur from Banglore by train. Arvind reached spot and provided them face masks and some eatables.
