SMVDU students’ innovation story reaches AIM2Flourish, USA

JAMMU, Jan 8: The innovation story based on the TV Super filter Jammu, ‘Marking Overseas by Enabling Overseers’, by the MBA students of School of Business, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra, has been published on AIM2Flourish (aim2flourish.com).
The AIM2Flourish, actually an initiative of Fowler Center for Business, is an agent of World Benefit at the Weather Head School of Management-Case Western Reserve University and Global Network of partners and supporters.
This platform assists students in research and helps them to identify an innovation and conduct an interview of a business leader using the UN sustainable development goals as their lens. The stories live on the aim2flourish.com platform are sources of inspiration for others. The creative brains behind this story were: Vitesta Sharma, Anwar-ul-haq Kichloo, Lovish Sthathia, Abishek Banotra and Baljeet Kour who worked under the mentorship of Dr Saurabh from the School of Business, SMVDU.
The story is an eligible nomination for one of the 17 Flourish Prizes that will be awarded in spring 2019 in Cleveland and at regional celebrations around the world.
Prof Mukhopadhyay, Dean, Faculty of Management appreciated the efforts of the students and their mentor. Dr Sanjeev Jain, Vice Chancellor, SMVDU, applauded the efforts made by the SMVDU fraternity in creating an environment and using innovative means to create a learning environment which is contemporary and relevant to industry as well as society. Dr Saurabh stated that the learning environment in the university is conducive to research and innovation. Taranvir Singh Gujral, Managing Director, TV Super filter Industries provided opportunity to the students for studying the organization.
