KATRA, Mar 2: The School of Energy Management, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University organized an expert lecture series on various aspects of power transmission by K. R. Suri, Retd. Gen. Mgr. of Power Grid and consultant to Sterlite Power Grid Ventures.
Mr. Suri spoke about challenges of transmission systems in depth and shared his vast experience in transmission system up to 765 kV with M.Tech. (Energy Management) students. The students were exposed to latest techniques being adopted to increase viability of transmission system for comfort of society. He also elaborated upon the latest trends in power transmission and distribution to minimize energy losses.
This expert lecture series was organized to ensure that the students of M Tech. (Energy Management) are exposed to latest techniques being adopted to ensure quality power solutions.
Dr. Sanjeev Anand, Assistant Prof., School of Energy Management, SMVDU coordinated the full lecture series.
