JAMMU, Apr 21: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University is set to organize the 2nd National Case Study Conference (NCSC 2016) from tomorrow to April 24.
The Conference is augmented with an exclusive and independent TED talk event (Technology, Entertainment, Design) i.e. TEDx SMVDU on April 23.
TEDx is a nonprofit international virtual organization devoted to “Ideas Worth Spreading”. The leaders from the area of technology, entrepreneurship and innovative designs are provided TED platform to share their achievements and ideas with millions of audiences, live as well as through online.
The speakers in the event are the leading social activists, first generation entrepreneurs, innovators and scientists as well as renowned researchers from all over the country. Some of the speakers who are going to enlighten the TEDx SMVDU event are Dr Bhuvnesh Kumar, Director, DIHAR; Babar Afzal, Pashmina Artist; Sawerkar Sharma, researcher and explorer, DBT, SMVDU; Navdeep Singh Gill, entrepreneur, founder Xenon Stack and Ray Farm; Kalpesh Gawali, young entrepreneur and Global Energy Achiever and many others.
The Conference shall provide a platform for the dissemination of case methodology as a tool for synergizing the corporate and academia learning process as well as creating a better environment for solving various problems.
It is expected that the 2nd National Case study conference would hold a participation of more than 150 delegates with over 50 cases to be presented from April 22 to 24, 2016.
Together TEDx SMVDU and NCSC 2016 shall provide a platform to the various researchers and practitioners to present their best of the experiences, critical issues as well as generate ideas for the development of the society and mankind.
Bhasker Taneja is the curator of TEDx SMVDU and the events are being organized under the supervision of Dr Saurabh and Dr Deepak Jain, School of Business, SMVDU and Dr Varun Kumar Tripathi, coordinator NSS and Director, Department of Philosophy & Culture, SMVDU.
