SMVDU conference on ‘Contemporary Trends in Humanities & Social Sciences’ concludes

KATRA, Jan 21: Two- day national conference on “Contemporary Trends in Humanities and Social Sciences” concluded today at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra.
The conference was organised by the School of Languages and Literature to promote use of Social Sciences and Humanities; Language Policy and English Literature, Interaction between literary, Linguistic and Social Science theories; Stylistics and English Language Teaching.
The valedictory address was delivered by Dr Saurabh Srivastava, Head, School of Business. Bhavika Chopra presented the conference report. Forty five research papers and twenty posters were presented during the two day conference.
Dr Sayantan Mandal and Dr Sukanya Mondal from IIT Jammu, Dr Anil Kumar from the Central University of Kashmir, Dr Ravinder Singh and Prof Anupama Vohra from the University of Jammu chaired the sessions.
