JAMMU, Dec 30: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra has been recognized in the Excellent Band University for this year as per the Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) 2021, released by the Ministry of Education’s innovation Cell on December 29, 2021.
The ARIIA 2021 classifies in two major (technical and non-technical), and six sub categories. In the technical category ranking of university & deemed to be University (Govt and Govt Aided), SMVDU has been classified.
This ranking was announced today by the Union Minister of State for Education, Government of India, Subhas Sarkar through virtual mode. This is the second time Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University has been recognized as Excellent Institution category in the Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory.
The Atal Ranking of Institutes is calculated through several consideration and all major parameters and indicators used globally to rank education institutions for innovation output and standard of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Prof R K. Sinha, Vice-Chancellor, SMVDU, has conveyed his best wishes and congratulated all faculty members, staff and students of the University for this achievement.
