Smily from Jammu brings laurels to Vaishno College of Engineering

JAMMU, Sept 29: HPTU, Hamirpur organised its 4th convocation at NIT Hamirpur.
Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Governor of Himachal Pradesh as chief guest gave away the degrees and medals to successful students.
Harshita was awarded gold medal for securing first position in CSE branch at university level and Smily secured Ist division with distinction and topped Civil Engineering branch at college level.
Apart from these, Aanchal, Drishty, Tanu, Sonali, Sonia and Shalu from Vaishno College of Engineering secured 1st division with distinction in their respective branches.
When spoken to students, Harshita mentioned that it was her immense luck and fortune to be a part of Vaishno College of Engineering. It has been truly learning experience for her. It is the constructive inputs and guidance throughout the four years that has helped her achieve this position. All students mentioned that college has placed state of art infrastructure, well equipped laboratories and library with E-Learning tools and a secure and safe environment to pursue one’s studies along with qualified and dedicated faculty members who are always available to students for the guidance.
Varun Gupta, MD of the institution told that it is their endeavour to provide best facilities to the students and prepare them as employable engineers, managers and entrepreneurs ready to take on challenges in the today’s world. He also mentioned that Vaishno College has a track record of students who are in the topper tally in university all these years and bringing laurels to the institution. This is why Vaishno College students get placed in the top MNCs and Government jobs, Gupta added.
