SRINAGAR, May 19: Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) has issued fresh directions for repair of defunct street lights in the city ahead of Ramadhan.
SMC Commissioner Dr Shafqat Khan has constituted five teams to address the complaints regarding defunct street lights,. The team will be available from 9:00 am and will address all the complaints registered with our helpline number 24704499.
All pending complaints, Dr. Shafqat instructed, will be addressed in the shortest possible time. “The month of Ramadhan is coming. All streetlights in the city need to be restored to ensure that devotees face no inconvenience due to non-functioning lights,” he added.
