VIJAYPUR, Mar 26: National Conference State Secretary and former Minister Surjeet Singh Slathia today urged the party cadre to gear up for the ensuing Parliamentary elections and ensure the victory of the Congress candidates for Jammu and Udhampur parliamentary constituencies as per decision of the leadership.
“All the grassroot level units have to redouble their efforts in strengthening secular and people-friendly forces”, Slathia said while addressing party functionaries here this afternoon.
Slathia urged the functionaries to put in their best during the campaign in favour of Raman Bhalla and Vikramaditya Singh from Jammu+Poonch and Udhampur-Kathua-Doda Lok Sabha constituencies.
Slathia also nominated election panels for the Vijaypur Assembly segment.
Campaign Committees for Block Vijaypur will comprise Sodagar Gupta, Omparkash Attri, Joginder Verma, Bishan Verma, Ramesh Lal Sharma, Satish Sharma, Ramesh Chander, Nishan Singh, Daljeet Singh, Subhash Chander, Ajay Sharma, Madan Lal Dogra, Ganesh Sharma and Keshav Sharma.
The Committee for Block Ramgarh will comprise of M.S.Bhatti, Roop Chand Tajinder Singh, Darshan Singh, Om Parkash Choudhary, Prempal Choudhary Labba Choudhary, Sarain Choudhary, Ramlal Janak Singh, Gara Ram, Jasbir Singh, Tara Singh, Sewa Singh, Balwant Singh, Raja Singh, Harjeet Singh, Ajeet Singh, Sukhwinder Singh. Milan Singh and Riaz Malik.
Similarly the panel for Block Bari Brahmana will comprise of Bhagwan Singh, Raman Gupta, Sher Mohd, Karam Chand, Angrez Singh, Sadiq Malik, Mohan Lal Angrez Singh, kartar Chand, Gulab Mohd Bhushan Kumar, Butti Ram, Majid Choudhary, Bashir Malik, Ashok Singh Charak, Balwant Singh Baba, Tersaim Parveen Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Abad Hussain and Gulam Navi.
