SAMBA, Mar 20: UT BJP Vice President and Former Minister Surjeet Singh Slathia lashed out at the PAGD constituents for testing the political understanding of the people, who know what they were up to just three or four years ago.
Addressing a public rally at Village Smailpur in Bari Brahamana area here, Slathia criticized the PAGD constituents for pursuing divisive and negative politics that has been a major contributing factor to discontent among the people, particularly the youth. On the contrary, he said, the BJP has come up with an inclusive agenda of development, growth, investment and creating opportunities for the youth—skilled, unskilled and educated. He said the BJP believes in Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, which has been guiding force behind governance,
He referred to the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi about Jammu and Kashmir and said that while the economically marginalised segments of the society have been brought under Ayushman Bharat scheme as part of health for all across the country, it has been made applicable as Ayushman Sehat in the Union Territory with benefits of Rs 5 lakh medical cover to every family without any economic slab. This reflects the intent of the BJP to ensure holistic progress of Jammu and Kashmir, he added.
Slathia urged the BJP workers to further galvanise the party to make it strong enough to meet the aspirations of the people.
Slathia was accompanied by BDC Chairman Darshan Singh Jogeshwar Singh Vice President BJP Samba, Vijay Singh Vice President BJP Samba, Yash Manhas Mandal Secretary Dilawar Singh, Sarpanch Balwant Singh Angrez Singh Daljeet Singh Brijpal Singh, Bhagwan Singh and many others.
