VIJAYPUR, Dec 12: Former Minister and MLA Vijaypur Surjeet Singh Slathia accompanied by Bollywood Cine Star Mukesh Rishi today addressed various election meetings at Raika Jogian, Sarva, Trindia, Barota & Kamore.
Slathia appealed the people to vote and support National Conference in Assembly election. He cautioned the people against disgruntled politicians who have launched a sustained misinformation campaign against the achievements of Omar led Government in the last six years. “These elements will not succeed in their machinations as the people are united and cannot be swayed away by their hollow promises and empty slogans,” he added.
Slathia said that the PDP is the brain child of BJP and the sole purpose of forming PDP was to weaken the mass base of National Conference by dividing its vote bank and there by gog the voice of people.
He said that National Conference is the real secular and democratic political party which represents the urges and aspirations of people of three regions of the State but the defeated politicians and vested interests don’t want that National Conference to raise the people’s socio-political issues in the highest corridors of power at national and international. But they will not succeed in their nefarious designs to divide the people as their double standards have been exposed, he said.
On the occasion Slathia gave on overview of the developmental activities taken in the Vijaypur constituency during the six years, saying this initiative will continue in future as well. He sought co-operation of the people in implementing various schemes for the over all good of the area.
