Skyview Patnitop launches Mountain Terrain Biking

JAMMU, Jan 1: Skyview Patnitop by Empyrean, Jammu’s latest mountain adventure and lifestyle destination in the Himalayas, has expanded its offering of adventure activities by launching Mountain Terrain Biking (MTB) on January 3, 2021 in Sanget valley, in the foothills of Patnitop.
The adventure & lifestyle destination’s new vertical Skyview Adventure Valley after a meticulous survey of both Sanget valley and Patnitop, identified multiple trails appropriate for MTB rides.
Patnitop, a fast developing tourist spot in UT J&K will for the first time offer visitors and adventure enthusiasts an organized and guided mountain biking ride.
This two hour, 14 km, ride will start from the Lower Terminal of Skyview Patnitop located in Sanget valley and go along the same route as the gondola that connects Sanget to Patnitop. The scenic ride traverses a winding uphill mountain road that passes quaint villages, farm fields and a pristine pine and deodar forest, till it reaches a mid-point and then makes its way back to the lower terminal. This is sure to enthuse thrill seekers for whom mountain biking is quickly emerging as a favourite adventure activity.

The Skyview Adventure Valley MTB trail is a guided adventure sport in which participants of a group of 4-5 cyclists — newbies who know how to cycle, as well mountain biking enthusiasts — are accompanied and led by a qualified instructor. All participants are provided with special mountain bikes, safety gear and a meal & beverage pack snack. The experience costs just Rs 1499 per person and there is an inaugural offer on for Rs 1124.
The inaugural ride will be attended by MTB enthusiasts from Delhi, Jammu and Udhampur who have been specially invited for the event.
