JAMMU, Mar 20: The newly elected body of SKUAST-Jammu Teachers Association today called on the Vice-Chancellor Dr P K Sharma for an informal interaction.
Dr Vikas Sharma, president of the Association, extended full cooperation of the teaching fraternity to the Vice-Chancellor in his endeavour for improving the standards of research, teaching and extension activities of the University.
The Vice Chancellor also assured that all genuine demands of the teachers would be duly taken care of. He also urged the teachers to work with dedication and zeal to make the university a centre of excellence.
The deputation comprised of general secretary, Dr Vivek M Arya; joint secretary Dr P K Rai; publicity secretary, Dr Devinder Sharma; treasurer, Dr Rajeev Sangra and executive members Dr Magdeshwar Sharma, Dr Jai Kapoor, Dr Poonam Parihar and Dr Vinod Gupta.
