SKUAST-J Engineer dies of heart attack

JAMMU, Sept 16: A young Engineer, working as Assistant Professor in the Division of Agriculture Engineering SKUAST-Jammu, died because of massive heart attack during pilgrimage to Mata Vaishno Devi yesterday.
The deceased, namely Hemant Dadhich (40) was on way to Bhairon Ghati after paying obeisance at Mata Vaishno Devi shrine when he suffered a massive heart attack. He was rushed to the Dispensary and then referred to SMVD Narayana Superspecialty Hospital where he breathed his last.
Deceased Hemant Dadhich, a resident of Rajasthan, had joined SKUAST-Jammu in 2010. His wife is also working with SKUAST-Jammu.
SKUAST-Jammu Vice-Chancellor, teaching as well as non-teaching staff and students have expressed their shock over the sudden demise of young Professor and conveyed their condolence to the bereaved family besides praying for peace to the departed soul.
