SKS pledges support to BJP

NEW DELHI, Apr 8: A Core Committee of Sampooran Kashmiri Samaj (SKS) met under chairmanship of Anoop Koul at New Delhi today. It was attended by president of the organisation and BJP corporator from Mattan, Anantnag, Rakesh Koul.
Various issues were discussed in the meeting. SKS reviewed all aspects and also discussed on current scenario and role of KP community in upcoming elections. Rakesh Koul, while reviewing status of M Forms for Anantnag Constituency for which the last date for filling is April 13 appealed all KPs to submit their forms and take part in upcoming elections.
General secretary, SKS, Bharat Kachroo said that all KPs are with BJP despite the fact that they have been ignored by present Central Government also for last five years. Kachroo said that KPs still have lot of hope with Narendra Modi as he is the only leader who can resettle them back in their native land with honour and dignity.
Kachroo has assured that community will vote in favour of BJP whether they have vote in Kashmir or outside the Valley. He claimed that KPs have more than five lac voters all over India including Kashmir.
Meanwhile president SKS, Rakesh Koul has put forward the proposal for construction of concrete road to Bargshekha Mata on top hill of Mattan from base town including lighting arrangements. He submitted a proposal for Yatri Bhawan for KPs at Mattan so that Pandits visiting Valley can take shelter during the yatra. Meanwhile, SKS has again reiterated its three point agenda and said it will continue to fight for it.
Core Committee has sent a message to PM, Narendra Modi that KPs are eagerly waiting for him to look after their needs and demands which included mediclaim for all Pandits under Ayusman Scheme, Financial package including soft loan to overaged, one time financial package for all KPs against loss of property and loss of trade.
The other members who attended meeting were Dilbhag Sopori, Rattan Lal Koul, Aditya Tikoo,Kuldeep Qunango, Bharat Kachroo and Ruskin Bhat.
