SKS, KPS, KPC demand release of ration, relief to migrants

JAMMU, Mar 28: A meeting was organised by Core Committee of Sampooran Kashmir Sanghtan (SKS) under chairmanship of Anoop Kaul .
The meeting demanded that in view of prevailing crisis the relief and ration for the two months be released in favour of migrant relief holders who are totally dependent on the same.
The meeting, which was also addressed by the general secretary Bharat Kachroo urged the Delhi Government to ensure the release of two months relief and ration for March and April for the Kashmiri migrants putting up at Union Capital so that they are not put to hardships due to present lock down.
The meeting demanded that Kashmiri migrants be also given benefit of all relief measures announced by the Government in view of COVID-19.
Meanwhile, Kashmir Pandit Sabha (KPS) chief, K K Khosa and Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) president, Kundan Kashmiri have also appealed the Government to provide two months ration to migrants on last year’s ration cards as the new ration cards have not been issued yet. They also demanded that the relief for the month of March and April be also released immediately in favour of relief holders. The two leaders demanded that migrants be also given the benefit of all relief measures announced for the other people as they too have no source of income except the cash doles provided by Government and were passing through tough times for last three decades.
