JAMMU, Apr 22: Czech automaker Škoda Auto has released two new editions of its popular mid-size sedan, the Slavia, and mid-size SUV, Kushaq, in India.
The all-new Slavia Anniversary Edition, priced at Rs 17,27,999, comes with Skoda’s signature Lava Blue color and additional embellishments.
It features front and rear mud flaps, chrome-trimmed front grille ribs, and chrome trim on the trunk and lower portion of the doors.
The car’s interior has an ‘Anniversary Edition’ scuff plate, Aluminium pedals, and an Anniversary Edition emblem on seat cushions, while the dashboard features a 25.4 cm Skoda Infotainment system with Wireless SmartLink and Skoda Play Apps, a 380-watt audio system, and a subwoofer.
The Kushaq Lava Blue Edition, priced at Rs 17,99,000, comes with similar features and is positioned between the Monte Carlo and Kushaq Style variants.
Both cars will come equipped with a 1.5-litre EVO-generation, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine making 150 bhp of power and 250 Nm of torque.
Customers will also receive themed, premium textile mats and cushion pillows in the cabin of both the SUV and the sedan. Brand Director Petr Šolc said the new vehicles were “instrumental” in the company’s growth ambitions in India, and that their “driving dynamics and design” set them apart.
Commenting on the launch of the new vehicles, Petr Šolc, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, stated, “we continue with our product offensive strategy with all-new editions of the Kushaq and Slavia, which are instrumental in our growth ambitions in India.”
