Skill course on ‘Neuro-Marketing’ starts

JAMMU, Nov 24: The Centre for Essential Skills (CES), IIT Jammu started a skill course on ‘Neuro-Marketing’ at Govt Degree College, Sidhra, here today.
The instructor for the course is Dr Amitash Ojha, Faculty in the Department of Social Sciences, IIT Jammu. The College has started this course for the students of B. Com stream.
“This course will familiarize the students with this new and emerging field of marketing and equip them with skills that will make them more employable,” Dr Ojha claimed.
College Principal Dr BB Anand said that education should ideally be a mix of skilling and knowledge. Now integration of academic and vocational streams with a focus on skill building is required. Imparting skill education to the students will make the youth industry ready and employable, he said.
Dr Mehmood Ahmed, Ritika Dogra and Dr Atta Ullah Niazi were also present on the occasion.
