Srinagar, Mar 3: Six residential houses were damaged in three separate fire incidents in Valley.
A police spokesman said fire broke out in a residential house of Mohammad Shafi Bhat at Zangalpora village of Devsar in Kulgam district.
“The fire engulfed nearby residential houses belonging to Gull Mohammad Bhat and Fayaz Ahmad. Fire tenders brought fire under control with the help of police and locals,” he said.
The spokesman said blaze broke out in a residential house of Abdul Aziz Rather at Patoo Mohalla in Ajas area of Bandipora district, resulting in damage to the house. “Fire tenders brought fire under control with the help of police and locals,” he said.
The spokesman said in another incident blaze broke out in two residential houses belonging to Showkat Ahmad Lone and Bashir Ahmad Lone at Bewoora village of Srigufwara in Anantnag district, resulting in damage to both the houses. “Fire tenders brought fire under control with the help of police and locals,” he said.
The police spokesman said no loss of life or injury was reported in these inferno incidents.
