Six injured in bus-tipper collision

JAMMU, Sept 11: Six persons were injured when a bus they were travelling in turned turtle at Domail under the limits of police station Jhajjar Kotli after a tipper coming from same side hit it while overtaking.
According to a police spokesperson, the accident took place this evening when a bus bearing registration number JK02Y-0605, which was on its way from Jammu to Udhampur was hit by a tipper bearing registration number JK02AU-8655, which was going towards same direction.
In the mishap, six persons were injured and shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, for treatment. The injured have been identified as Darshana Devi (45) wife of Seva Ram of Rehari, her daughter, Manjeet (27), son, Paramjeet (23), Dr Anju bala (55) wife of Somnath of Janipur and Amit (28) son of Radhe Sham and Pawan Chouhan (25) son of Mahesh, both residents of Luckhnow.
A case in this connection has been registered at police station Jhajjar Kotli and both the vehicles seized while the accused tipper driver managed to escape from the spot.
