Six booked for violating lockdown

KISHTWAR, Apr 23: Administration today booked six people including a lady for violating COVID-19 lockdown orders as they travelled to Chatroo from different parts of Kashmir via snow bound Sinthan Pass without proper screening, medical checkup and permission.
A police team after getting the inputs laid nakka and after 6 hours long struggle the police managed to capture all six persons.
A case under FIR No 07/2020 dated in this regard stands registered under sections 188/269/270 of IPC at Police station Chatroo.
All the six violators were handed over to SDM Chatroo Inderjeet Parihar and Tehsildar Chatroo Parvez Ahmed, who placed them under administrative quarantine at Chatroo while maintaining all the SOPs in this regard.
