JAMMU, Sept 30: Government today ordered transfers and postings of six Block Development Officers (BDOs) of the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj with immediate effect.
According to the order, Mohd Tahir, BDO Bhamagh (Reasi) and Vishap Partap Singh (BDO Dansal) will swap their place of postings while Anu Sharma (BDO Nagrota Gujroo, Kathua) has been transferred and posted in Block Satwari vice Tamanna Seth (presently on leave).
Irfan-ul-Ashaq, BDO Teethwal (Kupwara) has been transferred and posted in Block Sukhnag (Budgam) while the charge of Block Teethwal shall be held by BDO Tangdar in addition to his own duties. Assbah Arjamand Khan (BDO Budgam) has been transferred and posted as Incharge District Panchayat Officer (Publicity) in the Directorate of Rural Development Kashmir.
Ms Afroza, shall join as BDO Budgam (on resuming her duties after availing leave) vice Ms Assbah Arjamand Khan. She shall also hold the charge of District Panchayat Officer Budgam in addition to her own duties.
