SRINAGAR: A five-member delegation led by former Union Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Yashwant Sinha arrived here today for the second time in less than two months to try and bridge the gap between people of the Valley and New Delhi.
However, the earlier recommendations by the delegation has not yet received any favourable response from the Centre or or the State Government as use of pellets and arrest of youth continued and separatist leaders remained under house arrest or in jails.
Sources said after arriving here today, the delegation met J&K Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian President and senior Hurriyat leader Aga Syed Hassan Almosvi Alsafvi at his Budgam residence. They said the five-member delegation would also meet Mr Geelani, Mirwaiz and Malik. (AGENCIES)
