Significant leads in Pulwama terror attack: NIA

JAMMU, Feb 27: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) said today that a breakthrough in Pulwama terror attack on February 14 last year is expected shortly.
“Significant leads have emerged and a breakthrough in the case is expected shortly,’’ an official statement issued by the NIA said.
Forty CRPF personnel were martyred in the terror attack executed by the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) militants.
The NIA clarified that Yousuf Chopan, who was granted bail today by the NIA Court in New Delhi, wasn’t involved in Pulwama terror attack.
Chopan was not charge sheeted due to inadequate evidence and has been granted default bail by the Special New Court New Delhi today. However, he has been sent back to Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu under the Public Safety Act by the order of District Magistrate Pulwama.
