Signature campaign against Sajjan Kumar organized

Jammu, June 6: To awake the President of India and seek his interference in fair trial in the 1984 killings of Sikh in New Delhi, BJP leaders and activists organized a “signature campaign’ to garner public support for punishment to Sajjan Kumar and other Congress leaders.
Led by BJP senior leaders S. Varinderjeet Singh and State Secretary S. Charanjit Singh Khalsa, they kicked of the signature campaign from Khalsa Chowk of Nanak Nagar here. More than one thousand people from all walks of life reached the venue to pen down their signatures and expressed sympathy with the families who have been deprived of justice as the main culprits are roaming free due to their political association with the ruling elite.
S. Varinderjeet Singh, on this occasion, said that it is most unfortunate that thousands of innocent Sikhs were killed in just 48 hours in New Delhi and other parts of the country. Eye witnesses has, time and again, narrated the incidents and clearly pointed towards Congress leaders Sajjan Kumar, Jagdish Tytler, H.K.L. Bhagat as the persons who provoked the people to attack the properties of Sikhs and kill them at any cost in New Delhi. He said that only in New Delhi the provocations of the said Congress leaders resulted into murder of thousands of Sikhs.
S. Charanjit Singh Khalsa said that it is a mater of pride that a member from Sikh community is heading the Government as Prime Minister but he too have failed to feel the pain of the affected families.
