Shutdown in Gulabgarh over poor BSNL service, other issues

KISHTWAR, Sept 17: Gulabgarh observed complete shutdown over poor BSNL service and other issues including shortage of essential commodities.
As per reports, the business establishments and schools remained closed in Sub Division Gulabgarh over poor BSNL service and road connectivity. The traffic also remained off the roads.
Large number of people held protest and alleged the step-motherly treatment of Government towards them.
They said that the service of BSNL is so poor, that even while talking, the call gets disconnected. Several times, people have to redial the numbers which has added woes among them, they added.
“We are forced to opt to other cellular operators and the service of BSNL in this area has become worst”, they alleged.
The protesters also said that the roads of the area are in dilapidated condition and mishaps take place on daily basis, adding that people are also facing shortage of essential commodities like ration, LPG cylinder, kerosene oil, etc.
They urged the Administration to redress their grievances, otherwise they will intensify their protest in the time to come.
