KATRA, July 14: A Deputy Manager in Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board and In-charge Adhkwari temple was found dead under mysterious circumstances in his official room at Adhkwari Katra.
The deceased, identified as Sham Singh (59), son of Shanker Singh of Ward number 1, Katra, was found lying on floor near his bed in the room, which was locked from inside.
The matter came to light this morning when his attendant knocked the door and did not get any response after which the Police was informed and the door was broken. Later the body was shifted to CHC Katra for postmortem and a case in this connection has been registered for further investigation.
Apparent cause of the death could not be immediately ascertained.
