RAMNAGAR, Mar 1: Shri Chountra Mata Parbandak and Lok Kalyan Sansthan elected new office bearers during a meeting, held under the chairmanship of former MLA R S Pathania, who is also chairman of the Sansthan.
Sagar Verma was elected as president; Madan Lal Sharma and Raj Bahadar Jandial as vice-presidents and Uttam Chand Jogi as general secretary. A finance sub-committee of five members, comprising Makhan Lal Sharma, Balbir Singh Bandral, Sham Lal, Captain Gopal Singh and Bishan Dass Malhotra was also formed to maintain accounts and other financial matters.
To assist the executive body, a team of 13 members was also elected. Khem Raj Sharma was elected as vice-chairman of the Sansthan and it was also decided to further expand the general body on March 10.
During the meeting, arrangements for the forthcoming annual Yatra/Bhandara on April 7, were also discussed.
