DODA, June 9 : The sacred Shri Chound Mata Yatra 2026 was concluded today amid an atmosphere of deep devotion, spiritual enthusiasm and traditional fervour, reaffirming the rich religious and cultural heritage of District Doda.
The annual pilgrimage commenced from Korora and culminated at the revered Shri Chound Mata Temple, Punyalla Top, where nearly 2,000 devotees from different parts of the district and adjoining areas gathered to seek the blessings of Maa Chound Mata.
The entire pilgrimage route resonated with devotional hymns, bhajans and religious chants, reflecting the unwavering faith and spiritual commitment of the devotees.
Shri Chound Mata Yatra is one of the significant religious events of the region and holds immense spiritual importance for the people of Doda and the surrounding areas.
