LEH, July 7: Government of Ladakh today assigned the charge of Chief Engineer PHE/I&FC to Mir Afaz Showkat, relieving Ved Prakash (Incharge SE, PHE/I&FC) from the additional charge.
“In pursuance of Government Order Number 737-JK (GAD) dated 23-06-2022 of General Administration Department, union territory of J&K, Ved Prakash, Incharge Superintending Engineer, PHE/I&FC, holding the charge of Chief Engineer, PHE/I&FC Ladakh, is hereby relieved off from the union territory of Ladakh with immediate effect i.e. 07-07-2022 (AN) with the direction to report to the Government of J&K for further duties,” an order issued by the Government said.
The order further stated that the Officer shall handover the charge to Mir Afaq Showkat, Chief Engineer, Mechanical, Ladakh, who shall hold the charge of Chief Engineer PHE/I&FC in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
