JAMMU, Mar 9: Railway Magistrate Jammu Yahaya Firdous today issued notice to SSP Jammu as to why contempt shall not be framed against him. The court also issued bailable warrants to DySP Traffic D S Katoch and others to the tune of Rs 10,000.
The direction was passed in a complaint filed by Advocate Vikram Rathore.
During the course of hearing, court observed, “prosecution has sought time to apprise the court regarding the compliance of order dated December 20, 2018 by virtue of which SSP Jammu was directed to execute warrants of DySP Traffic, SHO Traffic and two constables”.
Railway Magistrate took serious note of not filling of the compliance report on behalf of SSP Jammu and further observed, “this court is constrained to issue notice to SSP Jammu seeking explanation as to why a contempt shall not be framed against him for non-compliance of the order”.
