KATRA, July 28: Up in arms against their alleged harassment on the name of anti-encroachment drive, shopkeepers of Katra town today held a strong protest demonstration and also observed a shutdown for more than an hour.
The agitating shopkeepers downed shutters of their establishment and assembled near Fawwara Chowk where a strong protest demonstration was held.
They raised slogans against the administration and alleged their harassment on the name of anti-encroachment drive.
The protesters were pacified by Tehsildar Katra, who reached the spot and assured to take necessary action on their demand after a meeting with all the concerned parties.
