DODA, Dec 25: Bhalla police arrested a shopkeeper for selling illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Post Bhalla conducted raid in a shop and recovered 14 pouches of illicit liquor, which the owner of the shop used to sell among the masses to make illegitimate profits.
Police arrested the shopkeeper, who has been identified as Susheel Kumar, son of Shadi Lal of Danda tehsil Bhalla.
A case under FIR Number 154/17 under Section 48-F Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Bhaderwah and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Police Post Bhalla SI Sunil Parihar made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Bhaderwah Muneer Khan, SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma, Additional SP Bhaderwah Rajinder Singh and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
