REASI, Oct 13: Property worth over Rs 7 lakh was destroyed in a major in a shop at Pouni town in district Reasi last night.
A police spokesman said that Abrol General Store, belonging to one Sohal Lal Abrol, caught fire due to short circuit at Pouni last night. As the people were sleeping in their houses, no immediate rescue work could be initiated. Property worth over Rs 7 lakh was said to be lost in the fire. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
