Shooting of ‘Mouj Masti’ begins

JAMMU, Nov 12: Shooting of first full-length Dogri feature film ‘Mouj Masti’ started here.
Written by Rajeshwar Singh Raju and directed by Heeramani Singh, ‘Mouj Masti’ is a comedy based on the menace of drug abuse among youth.
Singh has a long profile in films and has done Deepti Naval starrer film ’19th January’ as Chief Assistant Director. He has been associated with Mumbai based Production House, Amar Chand Motion Pictures for which he directed over 150 documentaries.
Heeramani believes that culture of J&K is very unique and should be brought to the world through cinema.
The Director of Photography is Sanjay Kumar while the music is being rendered by Kuldeep Saproo. The film is being produced by Aslam Mir, Rakesh Chalotra and Vinod Jaral under the banner of P.R Films in association with Pryag Films.
A handout stated that the complete shooting of the film will be done in Jammu region with the motive of tapping local talent and promoting local language and region.
The film has local actors having a background of theatre, television and cinema.
