JAMMU, Feb 16: A grand Shobha Yatra on the eve of birthday ceremony of Shri Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj was organized by Shri Guru Ravi Dass Satsang Society, Bishnah (RS Pura) under the aegis of Shri Shri 108 Swami Gurdeep Giri Ji Maharaj.
Shobha Yatra started from head office of Shri Guru Ravi Dass Sabha, Bishnah. Thousands of devotees with more than 50 beautiful Jhankies participated in the Shobha Yatra.
Shobha Yatra was flagged off by Kamal Arora, MLA Bishnah. He was honoured by Shri Shri 108 Swami Gurdeep Giri Ji Maharaj. Arrangements of Shobha Yatra were made by Shri Guru Ravi Dass Sabha, Bishnah under the chairmanship Ramesh Bhasin, chairman, Shri Gura Ravi Dass Satsang Society, Bishnah.
After passing through bazaars of Bishnah, the Shobha Yatra reached Shri Guru Ravi Dass Mandir, RS Pura via different villages. The Shobha yatra was given warm welcome at different villages, which include Dabber, Deoli, Laswara, Makkanpur, Chak Tara, Salehar, Jinder Mehlu, Jindlehar, Qutum-Zam and Chohala.
First, second, third and fourth prizes were given to Jhankies of Sikanderpur, Bishnah, Bari-Brahmana and Tapasya Art Drama Party, respectively. Guru ka Langer was prepared by Shri Guru Ravi Dass Sabha, RS Pura under the presidentship of Sudesh Kumar.
Shri Shri 108 Swami Gurdeep Giri Ji Maharaj delivered spiritual sermons on this occasion.
