BJP-PDP alliance a ‘black chapter’ in J&K politics: Panther

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Feb 16: Young Panthers has dubbed the ominous alliance of BJP-PDP as ‘black chapter’ in the political history of J&K.
Addressing a Press Conference, Gagan Pratap Singh, general secretary and spokesman Young Panthers revealed that the BJP after coming to power had contemptuously turned servile and crumbled to the commands of its ally PDP merely to secure their ministerial berths.
He further maintained that the BJP miserably failed to raise the political issue of delimitation of Assembly constituencies and remained tight lipped on its position on Article 370.
He pointed out that daily wagers, contractual, adhoc and Need Based Employees working in various Government departments including ReT teachers, NYC volunteers and other lower rung employees were often seen languishing in open protesting for their demands of regularization of services and release of pending salaries during the BJP-PDP regime.
He added that the tourism development in Jammu including like Cable Car projects for Mubarak Mandi and Patnitop, artificial lake project in Jammu besides development of twin lakes of Mansar and Surinsar failed to see the light of the day in these ten months.
Others present in press conference included Chetan Sharma, Suresh Kumar and Sardar N P Singh.
