JAMMU, Dec 30: A shobha yatra ‘Chhadar at Dargah’ organized in connection with Peer Lashman Shah Wali was taken out, here today.
The yatra started from Valmiki Chowk and passed through various areas including Green Belt Park, Hospital Road, Gole Market, Gurdwara Chowk, Shivaji Chowk, Nanak Nagar and General Zorawar Singh Chowk. It concluded at Dargah Sharief at Valmiki Chowk.
On the occasion, Peer Meshishah from Punjab was the chief guest, while Rashid Shah from Peer Mitha and large number of people participated in the shobha yatra.
After shobha yatra, a qawali programme was presented by Bakshi Quwali Fatehgarh Chudia Wale and other groups at Dargah Sharief, which continued for whole night.
