DODA, June 25: The annual Shiya Dhar Yatra from Doda to Shiya Dhar in Kulhand, was flagged off here today amidst an atmosphere of devotion and cultural unity.
The event was led by DDC Chairman Doda, Dhananter Singh Kotwal, Mission Director HADP/JKCIP, Sandeep Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh and SSP Doda, Sandeep Kumar Mehta along with other officials and community leaders.
The Yatra commenced from district headquarters with prayers and vibrant participation from the devotees. Religious leaders and locals also gathered in large number.
District Administration has ensured comprehensive arrangements for the smooth and safe conduct of the Yatra. Medical aid camps, drinking water points and resting facilities were set up along the route. Additionally, security personnel have been strategically deployed to ensure safety of all the participants throughout the pilgrimage.
The administration has urged the pilgrims to maintain discipline and cooperate with authorities to make the Yatra a peaceful and spiritually enriching experience.
