KATRA, May 1: Shiv Sharma has been re-elected as president of the Senior Citizen’s Welfare Forum Katra, elections of which were held in general house meeting of the body, here today.
Sukhdev Singh was elected as vice-president, Rattan Singh Manhas as general secretary, Mohan Lal Sharma as secretary and Om Parkash Magotra as treasurer of the Forum.
Election process completed under the supervision of Krishan Singh (Retired Director Finance) with Returning officer Charan Dass and Assistant Returning officers Rattan Chand and Chunni Lal.
The new team has been elected for two years as per the constitution of the Forum.
All members of the Forum participated in election process which was completed in a peaceful manner.
Shiv Sharma assured all the members that he would continue to serve the society with full spirit and zeal.
