JAMMU, June 1: Senior Citizen’s Welfare Forum Katra held elections to elect new body.
Shiv Kumar Sharma has been re-elected as President, Sukhdev Singh as Senior Vice President, Rattan Singh Manhas as General Secretary, Mohan Lal Sharma as Secretary and Om Parkash Magotra as Treasurer.
The election process conducted through secret ballots under the guidance of Retd Principal Braham Saroop Sharma, Returning Officer, Retd CEO Shubh Dutt Puri and Retd CEO Chaney Ram as Assistant Returning officers.
Out of total 58 members, 44 members have participated in election process in which Shiv Kumar Sharma elected as president with 100 per cent votes. The tenure of the newly constituted is for two years.
Sharma in his speech assured all the members to serve the society and nation with full spirit and zeal.
